A. Yes, you can either choose a standard model as shown in HouseZero's portfolio with custom design to a specific model or have your very own dream home designed.

Q. What is the process of ordering and building?

A. Stage one would be a introductory meeting with our professional team to set visions, timelines and constraints. The next stage would be to allow for finance approval by bank where applicable, where the process of the project will be finalized. Detail design and submissions to local authorities will follow. On-site construction will happen to handover for your newly built home.

Q. Is it approved by local authorities?

A. Yes a registered architect designs and details all drawings for submission to government agencies for construction approval. Agrément South Africa and NHBRC registered.

Q. How do I get finance?

Q. What happens in the winter?

A. Energy system is designed to deliver to full grid independence throughout the year in sunny regions.

Q. Will I ever run out of power?

A. No, the house is solar powered, in the case of no sunshine in order for the house to operate there are backup batteries in place.

Q. How is the temperature regulated?

A. Temperature regulation is controlled by sun shading and with no direct sunlight. Interior space heating using solar heating and gas with wood burning fireplaces adds to the interior temperature. Careful placement of windows allows natural ventilation to be filtered through the rooms.

A. Wide open glass facades are designed with 8mm toughened glazing with a 4 lever lock system on the external facades with a electronic security system.

A. All rooms are fitted with motorized roller blinds for complete privacy.
